The Ice King

Once upon a time there was a special place called Sedona.



It was a big desertic land sorrounded by the ocean. The days were always warm and the air was always dry.



The people were different from other places. They had an exquisite appearance and lived far from each other, not worried or interested in their neighbors.



There was too much to do and too much to live for to keep them busy but occasionally they met each other in the market or seeking for dry fruits in the oasis.

Sedona had something magic in the air. Unusual things could happen at any moment in any place.



Unusual creatures lived there.

Pretty boys in luxurious palaces sorrounded by palm trees.



Uncanny winged creatures who nobody knew exactly what they affairs were... and nobody wanted to ask.



Happy families where sometimes not even one single lady was present - but they had their babies and raised them in the same way, under the shining sun.



The Dark King and his Snow Queen arrived in an afternoon and took a house.



They had brought their children with them. All of them so different from everybody with their pale skins, their bright blue eyes and their shining silver hairs.

The Dark King didn't pronounced himself a ruler nor requested anything. They simply started to live there and after some time, everybody just started to think that they always were there. Their kids grow like if they were always part of the community.



And then, one day, The Dark King visited the Scientist because he had a request: his beloved queen wanted to see snow.

"Snow?", asked the scientist. He had no idea what snow was. The Dark King patiently explained about the soft frozen water that falls from the sky when the weather is just too cold.

"Cold?" - they never had one single cold day in Sedona. What the Dark King was requesting was impossible and not even all gold in the earth could buy.



But the Scientist was a scientist and the Dark King was made him feel curious. So he invented a machine to change the eternal warm wind into a cold weather.

For the first time, the Sedona's inhabitants could feel cold and saw the beautiful shining white flakes slowly falling from the sky.



The Snow Queen was very pleased. His King had accomplished something that she wanted most. What a royal gift he gave her!



But, mysteriously, the King wasn't happy. He was, somehow and for some reason, shaken. He had the impression that what he had done had changed something somewhere...

The Queen told him to not be silly. Nothing had changed. They were still the same living in the same place...



... happy as always.

But the King had the impression that not everybody was happy. Some people seemed to miss the hot sun and the warm ocean water...



Some people seemed to miss the short nights full of stars...



Some people seemed to miss the glorious morning with the sun rising in fire...



Some people started to call the Dark King the Ice King, that one with a frozen heart. Whispers of discontent could be heard everywhere.



Klaus Icestorm woke up from his dream in his warm bed, embraced on his beloved Kazuo thinking about the snow. 

He had the strangest dream. But he didn't mentioned anything to his beloved one because he could remember that he was there, in his dream, crying because he missed the sun.



So Klaus felt that somehow, for some reason, he was living a better life as a regular guy than as the Ice King...

... and Sedona could remain just as a dream. It was just a dream.

Vampiric Love - Part 01

Once upon a time there was Jeremy Byron.



The truth is that at the time that Jeremy first joined my game he was there because of Lilly Charlotte.



That's him, in his very first appearance.

Jeremy is a loner. He raised Lilly's Charlotte kids, he was a good listener to her complains about her lovers, he helped to make Odin an alienvampirewerewolfzombie... but Jeremy had no life. He never had a job. He never had a lover.

It was about time to change that, don't you think?

It's a normal night at the House of Fallen Trees, where the vampires are living now with their faithful helper, Rainelle Neengia, the zombie.



Lilly is not entertained. She claims for entertainment while Adam and Jeremy drink wine with pudding. I know, you thought that vampires suck blood from their victims or drink in ridiculous plastic cups with straws, right? Wrong. The vampiric diet basically consist in elaborated and delicate puddings and wine. They love it.

Tonight is a special night because the house have a new dweller.



This is Laurent and he is one of Ephemera's sim. My fav one. A pretty thing with a delicate face and a very dark heart. He is perfect to be a vampire and I have hopes that he can become the first Jeremy's mate in my game.

He have astounding piano skills.



He also plays chess very well (and he cheats a lot, even more than Lilly Charlotte).
Unfortunately, Jeremy doesn't seems to be impressed.



Oh, c'mon, Jeremy, he is such a doll. Look at him.

Laurent is impressed with Jeremy. Very much.



Jeremy have all qualities that he admires in a person. He is older, traditional, in a good body shape and he is a vampire.
Laurent quickly start to think that he is in love with this person.



They seems to get along very well, to my delight.



Wow. This is a historical moment. Jeremy's very very first kiss ever!

I decide to promote a date. It's okay to have your first date in more than 200 years at home, right?



Nobody is paying attention anyway, because the others seems to be busy playing strip-chess.



Lilly is actually winning and Adam is bad mooded because she is ripping him off distracting him with her beauty and moving the pieces around the chessboard.

The date romantically continues in the kitchen.



They quickly fall in love for each other.



There is only one problem: since Laurent is not a vampire, Jeremy's heart is not really in this date. But I can't transform Laurent yet for a couple of reasons: Laurent doesn't want that, Jeremy doesn't want to transform him and Laurent works as criminal and wants to become a criminal mastermind.

My game is chaotic but there are some rules that I always respect:
1. Never do something that a sim doesn't want
2. Wait to do something till the sim finally want that
3. Let the chaos reign

We all have to wait.

The date goes well (ignore the second rose bouquet, that one is for Charlotte, Adam is crazy about her) and I start to think about a strategy to help Laurent to completely conquer Jeremy's heart.



Next:
A zombie also deserves a chance to find someone special.


And:
Laurent is unhappy.

The Orphanage - part 02

You know, if there is something that I'm learning with this challenge is that I don't know anymore how to play this game. I need more practice.

If there is something that Olinda is learning with this challenge is that life in a house alone with seven kids is a hell.



There are 3 bathrooms in this 3 store small building but all children use the same one.

She is very dedicated, she cooks 3 meals a day but there is a small problem...



Nobody seems to be interested. They are all busy eating burned cakes cooked in the kids-oven.



Apparently is a very special delicacy.



The kids spend a lot of time playing...



(this is the 3rd floor, it suppose to be Olinda's room but she barely uses this bed, she sleeps a lot in the couch)

...specially with the dartboard, that, I suspect, have a high advertising level.



This room is small because it suppose to be just the access to the stairway. To our lucky, it was the place that the children elected to leave their homeworks.



After 2 and 1/2 days this is the score:

- they don't really eat the meals properly
- they sleep everywhere, not twice in the same bed
- they spend most of the time playing because they need to raise the fun-motivemeter (specially Julia, who, I suppose because she is very playful, returns from school with the fun bar completely red)
- they are having problems in make the homework because they are not in the mood
- the house is quickly decaying because Olinda is not exactly a good house keeper...

I was expecting more adventure so far, some fires, I don't know...
Hm. I don't think we are having much fun.

The Orphanage - part 01

(just as a note, I destroyed Desiderata trying to make editions that I don't really know how to make anymore. It worked so well before I install FT but it seems is not that simple anymore. RIP Desiderata, I was having fun.)

You know, I had this funny idea. I was playing the EAxis default sims, specially the Goths, my fav ones and since Alexander reach the teenager years I thought, why don't I add some of my fav sims as children, play with them till they reach the teen-age and then send them to UNI, etc? Sounded like a plan. I thought in add them with families and play all families (I'm playing the very confusing family of ... how are they called? You know, the girl who have two boys, the husband is dead and she is pregnant - a lot of people think she kill the guy in that small pool in the backyard) but then, it hit me: lotsd of my old sims are orphans, they have no families. So why not create a family with a responsible adult and seven children? Sounded like a very good plan.

Please, meet the Orphans: due to some game details, I made them as adult first because I didn't wanted to have to make them all family related. So I made them adult and shrunk them into kids.



Here they are. Some of you must know almost all of them. I downloaded Olinda at MTS2 but the "kids" are all old friends. Elena never was in one of my stories before but I used her a lot as a model to my uploaded stuff, there is a nice shot of her dressed as a bride here at Koinup. Matt and Mello are an obvious anime couple (Matt was made using Eduard), Angelo and Eugene are well know for some of you from my Butterflies stories, Oreus was made using another sim I made, Oriya (Oreus is a char in another story that I'm writing but it's too complicate to translate to english), Julia is originally daughter of Bella and Mortimer Goth and a character in the Butterflies story). If this project goes well I have a second group to be adopted after this first one.

Let's see.

First let's take a look on them in their kids age.



Angelo redefines the word "adorable". I wanted to cover him with kisses. Poor Angelo, he never had a family, not even once. I'm an evil storyteller. But he have Eugene (sometimes).



Eugene looks handsome even if he is (let's say?)... 12. Only him will look this good at this age.



Poor Matt (former-Eduard). I remembered this "geometry issue". I remember when he born in my game that I thought he looked weird. He still is a weird kid but at least now I know he will be gorgious when he grows up.



Mello lost his long locks. And he looks weird and scary. I don't remember anymore about his history in my game, I think I modeled this sim. I don't recall to ever had seen him as a child. This is him as an adult:



Next.



Oreus is a surprise. First because his hair have a child's mesh. I didn't know that (I have too many hairs). Second because he looks very similar to what he will look like when adult. Cute. I love him <3



Julia looks like some EAxis default sim but I remember she was adorable, she conquered me at a first sight. I found an old pic of her as a teenager so you can take a look:



This was way before I added gazillions of downloads in my game, specially the default skins replacement.



Elena looks like herself even as a child. Well, I didn't removed the makeup (I was too lazy) so you can blame that.



And finally, Olinda, the victim. The only adult in a house filled with sim-bratty-children. She is a family sim and I plan to marry her with someone when the "experience" is over. Maybe after a second group of children. She deserves to have a family of her own (also her LTW is marry 6 grandchildren or something like this so I really need to give her a big family).

Now the rules:

1. Only the adult sim is playable.
2. You can only send a kid sim do one thing: homework, because I don't have that useful hack that automatically send the children to do homework.
3. There is a mini-oven in the house, so the kids can cook that small cake and don't starve to death.
4. There is also bookcases, the wooden picture frame (how is that called in english) to make paintings, there are 3 bathrooms (is a small building), one bed to each sim, a kitchen with almost the basic-cheap needs (no food processors), some bears, some toy boxes, that small table that came with FT, a medium TV. I think they will be fine.
5. The adult sim must cook, clean the house, can't have a job and have a limited budget of 20,000 simoleons.
6. No nannies, no maids, no repair man, you are on your own.
7. Nobody have skills yet.
8. No hack interference allowed.

Well, I hope the social services don't take all my children.
