Mortimer's Office

The challenge: Pick one (premade) sim. Any sim, any age, doesn't matter if aged down or up. Check out his/her personality, interests, job (if any), aspiration, hobbies, etc, and create a space for them accordingly. Any kind of space that could represent your sim.
Once upon a time there was Mortimer Goth. He married Bella Bachelor and had two kids, Cassandra and Alexander. Bella disappeared for many years. Cassandra and Alexander grew up. Cassie married Don and had two sons. Alexander went to the university and share a small house with another spoiled rich kid, Francis Worth III. Bella reappeared for a brief time, time enough to re-marry Mortimer and have three girls - Julia, Amanda and Cordelia - then mysteriously died in a warm autumn night while Mortimer and her were watching a performance of the Vampire Theater.
After hit by the tragedy for the second time, Mortimer dived into the work and became a very successful business manager. He opened several small business in Pleasantview including a funeral house and an antique shop. His favorite place is his office in the antique shop, where he can spend hours reading the newspaper, books, studying, watching the stars through a powerful telescope or simply keeping his great body in shape with his exercise bike.

The Goth Antique Shop:

The shop is always full of customers searching for something precious and special.

It's an old restored building not so far from the new mansion that Mortimer bought after Bella's death. The place have style and atmosphere.

There is a very well equipped small kitchen so the employees can have some rest in their breaks.

image

The place is cluttered with goodies and the customers can spend hours drinking some coffee or tea and choosing what they want to buy.

The secret private place is upstairs, where nobody but the owner goes...

image

This is where Mortimer spend so much time alone with his unfathomable thoughts.

There is an easel right next to the stairs.

Dark, warm colors make a space feel cozy and intimate.

There is a special corner in this room, near the easel: a large table with Bella's favorite flowers and mementos of the travels that they did when both were just married.

In an opposite corner, a telescope and a small stereo so Mortimer can listen his favorite operas.

The most famous portrait of Bella is at one of the walls with a joyful orange sofa - reminiscences of a different era in Mortimer's life.

There still a small bathroom.

And that's how Mortimer is living... till he finds someone who can fill the empty space that Bella left in his heart.
Of course, not so empty because he have his daughters and he is a very dedicated father.

Who knows what the future holds to him?
