While Kato and Tarn were testing Some Sort of Europe I went back to LandGraab and Florence to complete their wedding day. The fact that Tarn and Kato were now eloping made me feel less blue about finish the wedding since I spent so much time preparating and enjoying this event.
Florence finally choose a wedding dress. Or I should say, I finally made a dress that I was happy with. There is an ironic touch in this dress story. I saw some really nice pics of lace wedding dresses that had some vaporous and transparent veils over the skirt (if this explanation makes sense) and I wanted a dress like this. I went after new meshes, browsed gazillion of sims sites, tried to make some dresses and in the end, I had the perfect mesh in my game already since the beginning! And, as people says, the beauty is in simple things.
Here they are in their wedding outfits (of course I had to make one to Landgraab too):
I love this pic. Interesting, I took gazillions of pics with poseboxes and gazillions of pics during the ceremony and the party but I love this one, because Landgraab is looking at her with a sweet loving expression while she is focused in look at the camera, like she was nervous because the main event was about to start.
Thanks to Numenor, the bride could go to the wedding place in a big limo.
My favorite moment, when they exchange the rings.
And then, when the ceremony was over, it seems that both sighed with relief! I love this picture.
The guests are: Denise, Gilbert Jacquet and Gilbert's girlfriend, Darren Dreamer and his resurrected wife, Checoleon Ramirez, alone because he left his wife but they are not divorced yet, he have a girlfriend but nobody knows her so he decided that go alone was less troublesome, the Picassos who gently tested the cake, Brandi Broke and her new husband Mateus and Goopy and Benjamin because Goopy was working as photographer.
I really love this pic. It was not so complicated to pose as I thought it would be.
The party was quite confusing. They started with the toasts.
Florence cut the cake.
And then nobody used the tables to eat and everybody spread plates all over the place so we had to take a break to clean the place before continue. Then I forgot, again, the first dance.
Goopy took some pictures to us, to hang all over the house.
It was getting late, so we finished the party. LandGraab and Florence went back to the mansion.
And I took the classical "limo shot" because I'm this much nostalgic.
It was a good party. Very refined, classy and we all had fun. I'm happy.
The newweds were feeling very romantic in the next morning.
And Malcolm gave to Florence an adopted cat called Kim. Florence was wanting a pet for days and days. I thought it was a sweet wedding gift.
Next: Honey Moon! As soon as Kato and Tarn return from Some-Sort-of-Europe.
Stay tuned...
